At 9:15 AM September 20th, in Carlsbad, California, many drivers had a surprise scattered across the roadways.  On I-5, many vehicles were stranded, as the drivers got out of the cars to collect the cash that was laying on the ground after an armored truck's door came open. 

The armored truck driver stepped out of the vehicle to collect the bills, as well as a lot of other drivers. Many drivers were stranding their vehicles in the middle of the road and posted videos on social media of them taking the money. 

This whole incident is now under investigation by the FBI, and some of the suspected people in the videos have been arrested. There is a link on the KTLA website to return the money and to contact CHP about any information concerning the incident. The dispatch center's phone number is 858-637-3800.
