During the week of October 4-9th, Southern Arkansas University will be celebrating its 106th annual Homecoming. This year's theme is Love and Loyalty. The Campaign celebration will take place this Friday on October 8, and October 9th. The Love and Loyalty campaign has raised over 28.6 million dollars, and hopefully by the end of this homecoming, SAU will be able to raise much more. Not only does this week's homecoming have a great cause that anyone can donate to, but there will also be fun activities to participate in during the week. This weeks schedule includes;
Monday:
October 4th: Homecoming Kick-off Pep Rally- Greek Theater at 6 pm
Dress Up Day: Meme Monday; dress as your favorite meme #saumememonday
Tuesday:
SGA burgers in the Mall- Reynolds Plaza (mall area) -11 am
Dress Up Day: Too Old Tuesday: dress as the elderly # toooldforsau
Wednesday:
Drive in movie- Reynolds Parking Lot - 8 pm
Dress Up Day: Anything but a back-pack: bring your books and pencils to class in anything but a backpack. #nobackpackatsau
Thursday:
Great SAU Campout/Bonfire/Pep Rally -Alumni
Spirit Logs -Reynolds Rotunda- 12 pm.
Spirit Banners- Reynolds 201- 4:30 pm
Street Painting Party- Farm Road- 11 pm- 1 am
Dress Up Day: Country vs. Country Club #saucountryvscountryclub
Friday-:
Homecoming Heart Beat
SAU Sports Hall of Fame Banquet- 6:30 pm Grand Hall
Dress Up Day: Blue and Gold Spirit Day #saugoesblueandgold
Saturday:
Homecoming Court Brunch - Grand Hall -11 am
Mulegating on the Righe- Alumni Center- 11 am
Pep Rally- 1 pm
King and Queen and Court Presentation- 2 pm. Wilkins Stadium
SAU vs. Southeastern Oklahoma - Wilkins Stadium- 2:30 pm.
